According to the "Regulations on the Establishment of the Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Protection Center of National Chung Hsing University," as stipulated in Article 2, the center establishes the following units:

  • Supervision and management of occupational safety and health in Type 2 Experimental Facilities at the university.
  • Inspection and hazard prevention in Type 2 Experimental Facilities at the university.
  • Promotion and supervision of subcontracting and confined space operations in Type 2 facilities.
  • Reporting the monthly statistics table for occupational accidents to the Ministry of Labor and maintaining information on the Ministry of Education's "School Safety and Health Information Network."
  • Implementation of safety and health management guidance plans promoted by the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Education at the university.
  • Evaluation, project supervision, and tracking matters related to the center and the Safety and Health Section.
  • Handling abnormal occupational safety and health incidents, reporting, and preventive management at the university.
  • Conducting meetings of the university's Occupational Safety and Health Committee.
  • Planning and promoting the medium to long-term development of occupational safety and health at the university.
  • Reviewing safety and health documents for new project personnel using the EZ-COM system at the university.
  • Other tasks delegated by higher authorities.
