Maintenance and Inspection Records for All School Water Dispensers in the Year 113

Subject: Submission of maintenance and inspection records for all school water dispensers. Please review and cooperate accordingly.

Details:

  1. In accordance with the letter Xing Huan An No. 1130500283 dated December 12, 113.
  2. As stipulated in Articles 9 and 12 of the Drinking Water Management Act and Articles 6, 7, and 11 of the Management Measures for the Use and Maintenance of Continuous Supply Fixed Equipment for Drinking Water: Maintenance must be performed at least once a month, either by the user or by a commissioned entity. Maintenance activities are not specifically limited and may include replacing, cleaning filters or filtration materials, disinfecting dispensers, pipelines, or other maintenance tasks. Maintenance records and relevant inspection data must be posted in a prominent location on the dispenser for a period of two years for reference.
  3. The university's Environmental Protection and Safety Center completed the inspection and maintenance record checks for all 489 water dispensers on campus from October 14 to November 14. The results are as follows and have been published on the Center's website for review:
    (1) Compliant Dispensers: 460 dispensers were maintained monthly as required.
    (2) Non-compliant Dispensers: 16 dispensers were not maintained monthly as required.
    (3) Discontinued Dispensers: 13 dispensers are temporarily out of service due to relocation or renovation.
  4. Units responsible for non-compliant dispensers are requested to ensure regular maintenance of their water dispensers. Once improvements are completed, please notify the Environmental Protection and Safety Center for re-inspection to comply with the Management Measures for Drinking Water Maintenance and to ensure the safety of drinking water for all faculty, staff, and students.
