【General Health Check for Workers】Why should employers conduct general health checks on employees?

Due to the regulations of Article 20 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: General health examinations shall be conducted for employees, special health examinations shall be conducted for those engaged in operations with special hazards to health, and specific health examinations for specific subjects and items designated by the central competent authority. Violation of the provisions of Article 20 may result in a fine of up to NT$3,000.
The employer is responsible for preserving the examination records and bearing the cost of the health examinations.
