The only difference is that the general health examination for in-service employees includes an additional Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) test. The detailed examination items are as follows:

Newly Hired Personnel General Physical Examination Items

In-Service Employees General Health Examination Items

1. Occupational history, past medical history, lifestyle habits, and self-perceived symptoms survey.
2. Height, weight, waist circumference, vision, color discrimination ability, hearing, blood pressure, and physical examination of various body systems or parts.
3. Chest X-ray (large film) examination.
4. Urine protein and urine occult blood tests.
5. Hemoglobin and white blood cell count tests.
6. Blood glucose, serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), creatinine, cholesterol, triglycerides, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol tests.
7. Other tests specified by the central competent authority.
