To reduce the nuisance and harm caused by the Taiwan midge (Forcipomyia taiwana) to faculty and students on campus, this information session has been organized. We have invited Professor Wu-Chun Tu from the Department of Entomology to give a talk, covering the ecological habits of the midge and personal prevention strategies. The goal is to effectively reduce the chances of faculty, staff, and students being bitten, as well as to disrupt the midge's breeding cycle.
